The trip to NZ in Feb is all paid for. I assume I will have to take that time as unpaid vacation rather than paid which is a shame. EI (Employment Insurance) will pay me at 55% of my salary for up to a year, which basically just means we can't save much. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to be working again within the month.
